If you do a Google image search for Cockermouth church, there are 2 images of the interior near the top, including one old one. It looks similar, but I am not sure. The pillar look much taller than in your picture, there are several windows visible and the "bands" at the top of the pillars are carved, whereas yours are plain.

    The postmark is definitely Cockermouth

As to the church, it's definitely NOT All Saints' which is too tall; it could be one of several others of course, and there are numerous small villages around Cockermouth also

I checked Lorton and Great/Little Broughton and Brigham? - definitely not them.
Searching for "Cockermouth church" I found the interior of one other church (can't remember the name) - it wasn't that either.

Doesn't identify the church though - the card is addressed to Miss Moffat at Bransty, Whitehaven!
