    Hello,

I think the solution lies in the text at the bottom of the card, which to my opinion can be translated as: 'Greek officers from America before the [Ein.] University' (I don't know what the abbreviation 'Ein.' means).

Above left, there is '1912-1913 campaign'.
Above right, there is '[...] Hellenism in America' (I don't know what the first word means).

To be confirmed however by somebody who speaks modern Greek.

Best regards and best wishes for 2012,

    Quasar

    Hello Philipano,

This view is actually from central Athens.

    Translations :
    upper left : Campaign 1912-1913
upper right : Long live the Greek-Americans
bottom : Greek recruits from America in front of National University

I suppose these are volunteers from the Greek community in USA who came to Greece to fight during the First Balcan War (1912-1913)

Have a great New Year !

This photograph was taken out of the greek university in Athens and shows greek men that hey came from USA to fight with the greek army in the balkan wars.
