I have been using this site for a few months now, as I have managed to find some stamps here that are not available on other sites.
However, there are a couple of things that I find off-putting.
Firstly, why are the postage fees not shown before purchasing.
Second, why are some sellers slow at sending an iinvoice ( I've been waiting for one for nearly a fortnight now, and messaged him numerous times without reply)
Finally, the other fees that are added after the purchase.
I am beginning to think it is not worth the expense, and can understand why the site is losing customers.
    Gripe over!

As a seller, Postage fees must be added when setting out the invoice. This is because some items, or an amount of items, or odd shaped items may take another envelope or bigger envelope which always effects the cost of postage. If postage is included in the seller price, it means that you are paying postage on every item as though each is posted in a separate envelope. And that sucks for the buyer. But the seller has a list of postage conditions you can access where you can see the postage and packaging costs. Also, you can make a lessor bid on an auction item. As to waiting a long time for an invoice; all I can say is some sellers do take too long, but maybe waiting for more items to be purchased as a bulk order. Geoff- oceania.

Thanks Geoff, but I find a lot of sellers don't put anything for postage, unless I am looking in the wrong place. Also, the items I am still waiting for an iinvoice for are the only ones he/she has,and are over £100s worth

    Dear Chaddy
Registered mail from Israel is 7$ upto 100 grams.
So you can bid for several items with a cost of 1 shipment.
BTW, if you like, can you tell me something about the your searched items? And if I have some, I can offer these on Delcampe.
    Thanks

The 'platform fee' (which is a fee Delcampe charges all buyers per item) should be visible on the item before you bid or buy. If you click on an item you should see it on the right hand side, below Buy/Bid button. You should also see a link to postage info the seller provides. (You can also find any info about sellers postage under the Sales Conditions tab on the listing)

I have tried to find the link for postage fees, but so far I've been unsuccessful

The easiest way is to look under the Sales Conditions tab on the individual item you are looking at, and scroll down.

That is where any information that sellers provide about postage/shipping costs & the sellers conditions of sale are.

Totally agree! I like this site but I’m trying not to deal with them due to the new extra costs, it’s about the only thing I can do to show how disappointed I am. I expect that sales will be down now. It seems like the extra charges are under handed and I don’t remember getting any notice of them. If you want to lose customers, I think you are on tract to do this.
