Iran / Persia stamps gum problem

    I have some Iranian full sets.
    This one is an 1950 set.
    The problem is the gum side. The gum has a dark color like stain.
    I have thousands of mint stamps from other countries. Some are stained. But this is a different kind of stain.
    Probably the problem was the kind of the gum? Have more iranian sets with the same problem.
    Interesting that this kind of stain (not like the regular stain) is not affecting other stamps that are mounted on the same album page.
    Any knowledge about this problem? including value.

    In the past they have been stored in a humid environment which has 'tropicalised' the gum and turned it brittle and brown. It looks like you may also have a fungal infection in the gum as well known as 'foxing'.

    I know about fungus stains. A fungus stain has also an affect on the front side of the stamp. This's not the case. Probably an acid gum.
    My question is also if these stamps could be kept without this affect?
    Or the gum was removed and these kind of mint stamps have a new gum coat?

    Checked out similar set sold on E on August 5,the gum on that set is completely different.
