Using Delcampe Pay to pay my Delcampe fees

I was wondering if there were any plans to amend the way Delcampe Pay works so that it can be used to pay Delcampe account fees?

At present, it is only possible to use DP to pay Delcampe fees if there is enough money in the DP account to pay all of the outstanding fees. It is not currently possible to use it to pay part of an outstanding fees balance.

Quite often I have money in my DP account, but I can't use it as there's no way of combining it with Paypal funds to pay all of my Delcampe fees.

I know DP is new, but I think making it more flexible might increase the take-up rate of people using it.

A potential way around this is to deposit the money from your Delcampe Pay account to your Delcampe account BEFORE month end so that it appears as a credit to you. I know that in the past I used this method with Skrill/Moneybookers which I offered but rarely got anyone using it.

    So for example:

Today 30th July, you have, say, £25 in your Delcampe Pay account - you send this to your ordinary Delcampe account, which will accept payments at any time.
    Result - credit of £25.
Thursday 1 August, Delcampe send your monthly statement - again say you owe £50 for sales. Your account will show a net £25 due to Delcampe, which you can then pay by PayPal or whatever means is allowable.

I should say I haven't tested this as yet with Delcampe Pay, but see no reason why it shouldn't work.

Thanks for your suggestion. Once I've paid this months bill today, I'll move the Delcampe Pay balance to my Delcampe account. As you say, it'll put me in credit just ahead of the new bill arriving.
    Thanks again
