Good condition FDC with perf stamp on it, the FDC is issued on May 28, 2024 by Vietnam Stamp Company. I will change actual photo on the 1st day issue

Stamp information:

Vinh Te canal has a length of 91 km, starting from the west bank of Chau Doc River (An Giang province) to Giang Thanh River in Ha Tien city (Kien Giang province today). This is not only a strategic work of national defense and security but also comes with many values in terms of transportation, trade, and irrigation.

The canal was digged under the direction of Mr. Nguyen Van Thoai (also known as Thoai Ngoc Hau - a mandarin of the Nguyen Dynasty) for 5 years. The digging was divided into 3 phases, began in 1819 under the reign of King Gia Long and ended in 1824 under the reign of King Minh Mang.

In order to preserve, protect and promote the traditional values of the nation, specifically a great historical construction work which demonstrates the intelligence and creative labor of our ancestors, the Ministry of Information and Communications issues the stamp set "200th Anniversary of the completion of the Vinh Te canal (1824-2024)" including 01 stamp with the face value of 4,000 VND.

Stamp size: 66 x 26 (mm).

FDC size: 200 x 110 (mm).

Designer: Mr. Nguyen Du (Vietnam Post).

The stamp set is issued on May 28, 2024.
