Deciphering the status of a postage stamp:
MNH – Mint Never Hinged – clean postage stamp with glue, not previously used;
NG – NoGlue– blank postage stamp on the front;
U – Used – used postage stamp that has gone through the mail or cancellation process by order, i.e. in the typographic setting.
