This is a rare piece of original hand-painted water colour artwork obtained from the printers archives. The water colour artwork has been done on thin artcard and the size is 19 cm x 14 cm. On the back is the chop (official hand-stamp in ink) and the designer´s signature. As can be seen, the design was accepted and was used for the issued stamp (shown in scan and included in this lot). The background colour was slightly changed for the issued stamp.

The catalogue number for the stamp is 1628.

Not too many countries have released the actual artwork done for issued stamps, so this is a good opportunity for an exhibitor to be able to display an actual piece of original artwork for an issued stamp in their exhibit. This item is not a copy or a print, it is original.

On certain occasions if large total is purchased, tracking may be required and I will advise the cost - currently it is 19.50 euros
