DESCRIPTION: A very fine Pre-Stamp FL from ATHENS (19 OCTOBER 1844) via PIRAEUS (19 OCTOBER 1844) to SYRO (20 OCTOBER 1844) with respective VF cancellations. Boxed paid marking missing. Back has manuscript marking of 30 and 8. F-VF stampless cover with clear post marks and hence most desirable. Please see scan for condition.
