1859, Briefvorderseite vom 18.1.1859 von Triest nach Livorno (20.1.) an den Forwarder Rizzari, bis Livorno frankiert mit 5 Kr. rot und 10 Kr. braun (beide Type I) übergehend gestempelt mit "TRIEST, 18/1 Abends", für die Hafengebühr in Livorno mit einem waagrechten Paar 6 crazie "azzurro cupo" frankiert, gestempelt mit "LIVORNO, 20 GEN 1857" und mit dem französischen Postschiff nach Neapel und von dort mit einem napoletanischen Schiff nach Messina nach Catania befördert; Gesamttaxe "35" (grana) (24 gr. für Livorno-Neapel und 11 gr. für Neapel-Catania). N.B.: wenn das direkte Postschiff nach Messina versäumt wurde, wurde die Post mit dem nächsten Schiff nach Neapel umgeleitet und von dort nach Sizilien gesandt; sign. AD und L.Gazzi (ANK. 13I, 14I, Sass. 15b).
