Sankt Christoph am Arlberg ist ein kleiner Wintersportort in der Arlbergregion und im Stanzertal in Tirol, und gehört zur Gemeinde St. Anton am Arlberg im Bezirk Landeck.
Salzburg ist die Landeshauptstadt des gleichnamigen Landes der Republik Österreich. Mit 153.377 Einwohnern (Stand 1. Jänner 2018)[2] ist sie nach Wien, Graz und Linz die viertgrößte Stadt Österreichs. Prägend für die Stadt, die im Salzburger Becken liegt, sind die Stadtberge und die Salzach, die mitten durch das Stadtgebiet fließt. Der Nordwesten der Statutarstadt Salzburg grenzt an Freilassing in Deutschland (Freistaat Bayern, Landkreis Berchtesgadener Land), das übrige Stadtgebiet an den Bezirk Salzburg-Umgebung, landläufig Flachgau genannt. Die Stadt gliedert sich unabhängig von den historischen Katastralgemeinden in 24 Stadtteile und drei angrenzende Landschaftsräume. Den historischen Kern der Stadt bildet die Altstadt links und rechts der Salzach (Stadtteil Salzburger Altstadt), an die die alten, zeitlich bis ins Mittelalter zurückreichenden Vorstädte Mülln und Nonntal anschließen.Die Stadtteile Aigen, Parsch, Itzling und Gneis sind im Wesentlichen nach 1900 gebaut worden. Die einst selbständigen Dörfer, später Vororte Maxglan im Westen, Liefering im Nordwesten, Gnigl im Osten und Morzg im Süden wurden in der Zwischenkriegszeit zu Stadtteilen. In dieser Zeit bildete sich allmählich der durchgehend bebaute Siedlungsstreifen entlang der Moosstraße in Leopoldskron-Moos. Salzburg ist in 14 Katastralgemeinden aufgeteilt: Salzburg, Maxglan, Morzg, Gnigl, Itzling, Aigen I, Liefering I und Leopoldskron. Am Stadtrand befinden sich Bergheim II, Gaisberg I, Heuberg I, Hallwang II, Siezenheim II und Wals II. Die Namen der Stadtteile als funktionelle Einheiten entsprechen großteils den gleichnamigen Katastralgemeinden, deren Grenzen weitestgehend im frühen 19. Jahrhundert festgelegt wurden. Die Bezeichnung Aigen I besagt, dass die einstige Gemeinde Aigen zum größten Teil in die Stadt Salzburg eingemeindet wurde. Der verbleibende kleinere Teil wurde in den Jahren 1935 und 1939 unter der Bezeichnung Aigen II als eigene Katastralgemeinde der Nachbargemeinde Elsbethen zugeteilt.
