Au revers les trois G de AVGGG s’adressent aux trois empereurs régnant alors : Théodose I (379 – 395) qui règne en orient, son fils Arcadius qu’il a nommé co-empereur en 383 à l’âge de 6 ans pour préparer la succession et Valentinien II (375 – 392) régnant en occident.
