    I agree on the amount of listings that have been on Delcampe forever. I mostly purchase postcards and it is frustrating to always see the same items being offered again and again. Often, those items are labeled as being "New" again. Sometimes, it seems like some of those listings have been on the site for a decade or more.

    It is important to have fresh new listings to keep the buyer coming back. Mind you now there's this new issue that might keep buyers from coming back.

    guess what: my item #61519853 was uploaded in 2009 (15 years ago) and it was sold 2 weeks ago.

    to be honest: I really can't understand, WHY all those Millions of items are allowed to stay here in the Nirvana until forever and a day?
    A maximum sale presence of say one year would clean this pond and freshen up the offers.

    I search my preferred categories, for example, children, entertainment, chromos, etc. But, I also go to my favorite sellers from time to time. Finally, I also search by specific words. This last one doesn't always find as much as I would like, as sellers, sometimes, list by a few general words, which of course makes their item difficult to find.

    I have no problem at all with listings being here for decades, especially if they are cheap. I have hundreds of items on my facourites list, and will buy those others once I really want a certain item from a seller, to make the transaction and the postage worthwhile for both of us. (At least that is what I used to do, which seems kind of pointless now given delcampes crazy fee changes.)

    What I don't understand is how some sellers won't reduce their prices at all in such a long time.

    I must say that I have been purchasing on Delcampe for probably 15 years. I do often end up with a lot of items on my watching list, close to 100 often. At least, I think that's a lot. Never have I received a notice from Delcampe that an item that I was watching had been reduced in price. Not sure what to think of this.

    With the old system I usually paid around 30 euros in fees per month. If the subscriptions come soon and I want the same service, I will pay 45 euros a month. The question of why prices are not being reduced should therefore go to Delcampe, not to the sellers.

    I agree that this is going to hurt Delcampe in the long run. Not sure how I feel about this. I have been purchasing on this site for so long that I hate to see it declining. But on the other hand, they would have brought it on themselves. And, yes, it won't be good for any concerned. Personally, I will start looking elsewhere.

    I agree that this could be the end of Delcampe if they continue to operate in this way. My sales for this month a miserable. I have had no new sales for a week and my income is not going to cover the new monthly fee once that starts. I have over 42,000 items so cannot just cut down and all the time spent entering those items will be wasted if Delcampe folds. Its hard to see how Delcampe could have been loosing money but of course number of members does not mean active business, nor does number of items available. Having been a private seller on here for 8 years I have always had a steady amount of sales each month but now nothing. Very sad but unless it changes soon I will cancel and lose my work but I not prepared to pay the monthly fee and lose money.

    I have been selling on Delcampe since 2010 From Australia, with a shop of 24,500 items. Sales are usually steady, but have fallen off a cliff since the recent changes. The same experience as greggm above, The introduction of monthly store fees would certainly be a deal-breaker in the current scenario, because there isn't the turnover to support such fees. I certainly have enjoyed my years on Delcampe but unfortunately, they could be drawing to a close.
