Listings with Quantity

Just noticed that listings with a 'quantity' i.e. when you have more than 1 of the same item to sell are not being reduced when 1 of the 'quantity' is sold. Clearly, this means that buyers will see more stock than you actually have.

Normally, you will see a restart auction notification when 1 item is sold but this does not appear to be happening.

Has anyone else seen a similar problem?

Noticed the same problem this morning, with my lots no: 487963332 and 487962652.
The problem continues to exist until now.

Benjamin? Do i have to recheck all sales like this and, if so, going back to when?

Any news about a 'fix' for this. Many of my items are multi item listings and I can see problems ahead when stock I longer have is purchased.

    Very annoying

I raised this with Delcampe yesterday with specific examples.

However, on closer scrutiny the problem seemed to no longer exist. What I found was that the listing had been adjusted to the correct quantity after a sale. However, the usual restart notification was not forthcoming ... and maybe this process has changed.

Also, when I reviewed the listings in Ongoing sales they showed the quantity before the sale! I have reported this discrepancy to Delcampe.

Net, I think the quantity is being adjusted correctly on the actual listing but I am continuing to review each item with caution.

If you have specific examples where you believe there is a problem I strongly suggest you report them to Delcampe.

Delcampe has become a nightmare to work with.

I have just been processing a large phonecard order. Normally it takes me 20 to 30 minutes to process such an order. So far I have been struggling with this for well over a couple of hours. I have found all the cards and have them ready for shipping.

BUT whilst working through the order I discover the remaining item totals are not correct. Then I discover than many of the re-listed items have lost their scans/pictures. I now have the tedious job of going back through every item to check if the totals for sale are correct and re-scanning the items without a picture and then adding it to the listing.

These are all things that are time consuming and should not be necessary to spend my time on when I could be doing other things.

I list on two other sites and have never ever had problems like these. I was prepared for the usual teething problems when the servers were upgraded but these problems seem to be never ending. Problems with CSV files were making me tear my hair out a day or so ago and today's time wasting fiasco has started me on the wig!

    Anyway rant over!!

Thanks Alan....I think you are right. The individual items are being adjusted for each sale but the totals in Ongoing Sales are incorrect.

Pretty sloppy wirk by the tech guys! Mike

Why not rant? I find it so sad that this once excellent site has fallen into such a bad state of disrepair.

How many members and how many times were D warned that the new site was nowhere near ready to go live? But ego ruled and the result was obvious to forecast. Many members took precautionary measures to avoid the personal financial loss that was sure to follow..

Such a shame, but as you correctly say, these problems do not exist on other auction sites......and at least the recent listing fee increases should swell the D coffers enough to spend on system upgrades (breath duly held)

Looks like there may be more problems with listing showing more than 1 item for sale. From what I am seeing these listings are effectively closing on the sale of 1 item. Has anyone else noticed this problem?

I have also noticed another listing where the quantity has not reduced. Further it is impossible to amend the listing! Workaround = close the listing and relist!

I am just keeping an eye on things at the moment but would be interested to know if others are experiencing problems.
