lister 4 programme advice needed.

    having downloaded the new lister programme this morning and attempted to list new stock have hit a small snag that I do not understand. when clicking on 'send' I get- cost of sales selection. what does that mean and what goes in that box. ? secondly when attempting to modify an item, prior to sending, the actual images are not shown, although the details are. Is this normal?

    Cost of sales option should read £0.00, unless you have opted for paid for features (i.e. bold title, item on home page). You don't need to input anything there.

    I just clicked on "modify" on one of my listings and the image showed - it was an item that had already be sent though. There is no column in this lister, which says how many images are attached, so it is hard to judge if the image is there in your case or not. Maybe add it again before sending. If it is duplicated, you can always delete on the website and you'll know for future occasions.

    Thank you Marion for your help. There must have been a temporary glitch re the image issue. I have just listed a few more and the image is there. Am in the process of going back through the original lot re -inserting the images. your help much appreciated

I have spent some hours this evening listing new stock,. having finished listing I have gone back over the list to amend a few and found none of the images are there, so whole evening has been wasted. advice is again requested from anyone that can offer a solution to my problrm. I can obviously go back over the whole lot and re insert the images but I have no faith as to whether they will stay there again.

    further to my previous messages there appears to be a serious omission on the new programme, there is no delete button on the images section, so that if a mistake is made, it cannot be remedied at that eary stage.

    I am having the same issue with images not appearing on the Delcampe website listing even though the images appear in the Lister when I create it. 5 out of 50 new listings with Lister 4 had images on the site but I had to 'modify' 46 others. :thumbdown:

    Hi. thanks for your reply.It is reassuring to know that I am not the only one . I have reported this to the tech people. Wth the amount of time wasted amending listings, it would be easier to list items singly on the selling form.

    I almost agree with you on the time issue. I still think it's quicker with the lister but -- unfortunately for me -- I hadn't noticed that the images weren't showing up on the site in the first batch of 25 until I'd deleted the scans from my computer. I'm saving all scans now for the time being.
    there are watchers on some of the listings without images which makes me wonder if some can see the images; I waited two days to see if they would show for me before I modified the sales. the images show up for me now after modification.
    It certainly makes me wonder when I see a listing without an image whether or not the seller knows something's missing.

I still think it's quicker with the lister but -- unfortunately for me -- I hadn't noticed that the images weren't showing up on the site in the first batch of 25 until I'd deleted the scans from my computer. I'm saving all scans now for the time being.

    There is an intermittent fault with this programme. I have used or attemped to use it 3 times today. Firstly ,listed 8 items. images ok but only 4 of the eight uploaded. secondly , listed 17. all images ok and all uploaded ok. thirdly - listed 6 items and 3 of those had lost their images when I checked prior to uploading.

    would advise anyone using this programme to check whether their listings actually have images once uploaded. very worrying for a brand new programme .

    I started using the new version of Lister a couple of weeks ago & am having the same problem with the images - They show on items I'm listing when I check in the preview view before I save the item & move on to create another one, but then when I check my store after I've uploaded the items well over 50% are missing the images.

    Is there a fix yet (other than to have to waste time adding the images again once the item is in my store)?

    I don't think I have had the image problem at all. However, I have reported several glitches/improvements and to date none of them have been addressed.

    We were asked to report glitches/suggest improvements when the lister was first launched.

    Alas, there has been no feedback or implementation of anything.

    Maybe a staff member reading this, could provide us with an update?

    Thanks for your feedback. I actually check each item in preview on Lister before I finishing adding it & all of the items show images at that stage - it's only when they are uploaded to my store that the images disappear.

    I've started going through & adding the images in my store, but ironically for the last 2 days my Lister isn't working at all - but on the bright side at least it means that I'm not adding more imageless items to my store at the moment!

    Hopefully somebody at Delcampe will be able to get this fixed soon (HINT HINT !!)
