Gold Club subscription renewal, Overcharged

    I have just been billed for my Gold Club subscription.

    It should be 40 GBP.

    But I have been charged 41.03 GBP

    It says in my account record:

    "Subscription 40.00 , -£41.03".


    Before the subscription my Account was in credit by 1p. After the subscription it was in debit by £41.02

    The extra is probably VAT - the way for charging this changed not too long ago.

    You are no longer charged the Luxembourg rate but the UK rate on all you Delcampe fees.

    Wycombe is correct - it's UK VAT at 20% rather than Luxembourg VAT at 15% which makes the difference.

    The answer of Wycombe1 is correct. :cool: In the GBP 40 is the Luxembourg VAT of 17% included. The UK VAT rate = 20%. So (40:1,17) x 1,20 = 41,03
