packing slip

I assume not many UK sellers use the Delcampe packing slip or there would have been complaints.

    This is a mess. :d-unhappy:

The text one sends with the invoice is copied to the packing slip (the text at the top that specifies my payment methods) from the invoice.

Each item has a tick box and a button at the bottom "remove from the list".

Please, please Delcampe, sort this out!!! :d-unhappy:

I mentioned this some time ago in another thread.

However, I quite like the tick box because you can use this to 'tick off' each item.

Obviously, the 'remove from list' is a load of rubbish.
Again another error that should have been picked up in testing.

I have actually printed the invoices to send to my customers.

I initially thought that the buttons for "print packing slip" and "print invoice" had been swapped over and reported it as such before now.

However, this one clearly says "delivery note".

The button, the message at the top and the tick boxes are all nonsense.

A delivery note is a piece of paper that states the items you are sending with possibly a "thank you message" at the end.

As far as I am concerned a message sent with an invoice would be completely different from a message on a packing slip. The first one to include payment methods and the 2nd one just a thank you message.

It looks to me like they forgot about packing slips/delivery notes and when they discovered it, they just pasted the invoice.

Good point ... perhaps (and maybe I'm being generous) trying to automate things again without really understanding the requirement.

I think we probably need separate threads on each discrete area of the 'new' system with comments on errors / poor design to get some focus from Delcampe. I suspect they are running around like 'headless chickens' at the moment.
