Is the search facility knackered again?

    I have just been searching for a particular item in several stores all of which indicated multiples of that item. Yet only one item is showing (or none at all in one case) when I click on the quantity.

    For example I searched for Switzerland Pro Juventute stamps and found several stores that had quantities - in one case 96 items - yet only one showed in the search.

    Anyone else come across this?

    It happens with my own items from time to time. It can take a couple of hours for them to re-appear in the searches after auto-relist.

    But unlikely that all the sellers you looked at, all had their items ending on a Sunday evening.

    It happens with my own items from time to time. It can take a couple of hours for them to re-appear in the searches after auto-relist.

    But unlikely that all the sellers you looked at, all had their items ending on a Sunday evening.

    Looking more closely at the items in question - they did indeed close on Sunday night (all of them!) and did reappear in searches today.

    I must bear these closures and re-listings in mind when doing a search for a particular item or group of items.

    Looking more closely at the items in question - they did indeed close on Sunday night (all of them!) and did reappear in searches today.

    I must bear these closures and re-listings in mind when doing a search for a particular item or group of items.

    It also raises, in my mind, and I hadn't considered this before, that I shouldn't end everything at the same time on the same day as then there would be a period, perhaps considerable, when nothing could be seen of my store material in a search.

    I have been ending all my listings on a Saturday evening - a hangover from when I listed a lot in auction format, combined with sheer laziness, but virtually everything now is on a But it Now basis, my thinking being that it didn't really matter because there was no 'end' as such, it either sold or went round for another week. I must change some of the ending days around and see if that makes any difference.

    That's an excellent way of doing it. I can see the Multiple Changes function is going to get a bit of a work over!

    I won't be listing anything this week & just changed all my sales back to auction to finish next Monday. I just need some time to catch up on other things. However, I too might have to use the bulk edit facility next Monday in order to spread things out again.
