    I haven't listed for over a week (away on my hols), but this was happening to me every 4 or 5 items before I left.
    I thought it was a glitch.

    Just slapped a dozen or so new items on tonight with no problems whatsoever so it must have been a temporary aberration

    My listings today have been posted very slowly. Either someone / some people are pounding 1,000s of listings at once and the servers are burping, or there is trouble in delcampe paradise.

    The e-mails seem to be trickling down to me slowly.

    What's rough is that I can't sort the e-mail titles because it has the item number first. I guess I could write a small app to copy them out of Outlook, strip off the item number and then sort them by title.

    Why I say this is that the items are not posting FIFO - first in, first out. They're scrambled, as if the "catcher" on delcampe is shuffling them up as they come in. Old items are now coming in, when new items have already been e-mailed to me.

    I'm not too sure what the mechanics of the uploading to delcampe is, but it "should" be separate receiver computers that do nothing but collect incoming stuff - no other processing, except maybe passing back an e-mail message. Even that can clog the circuits, if someone is pounding it with 1,000s of items.

    Sort of a phantom "denial of service" DOS thing.

    That said, all of the other functions on the web site seem to be working fine, considering I had some nasty trouble for about 1 month... which I created a decent workaround for. :)

    Yeah -

    BTW, Lister has been working quite well lately. All of the French verbiage was replaced by English (although I could read the odd words).

    Also, yesterday, I had a short period where I couldn't SEND items. I think delcampe was disconnected for a short time - along my DSL routing.

    Another sort of "glitch" - or is it that each seller can do this - that for one & only one seller, I did not receive "Item Won" from delcampe.

    Every other purchase, since I've started, have delivered me e-mail as confirmation.

    Not only that, but this seller seems to have a POOR reputation for communication. We'll see how this plays out.

    I have also seen, but not too often, uploading to delcampe for 7 days and it winds up being 14.

    That said, I don't know what happened behind the scenes. Maybe, just maybe the staff had a problem and they extended the auctions.

    I would suggest that for EVERY day you work with Lister, get the updates.

    Go to About and then select the current updates. Usually English, Category and Money Conversion lists.

    Not only that, but also update every time an update is published, which includes Adobe AIR as well.

    I'm not saying this will take care of the problem, but it will level the playing field.
