Why is Delcampe so S-L-O-W?

    Over the last few days getting anything done on Delcampe has been like watching paint dry.

    At first I thought it may be my broadband connection but I have had no problems with other sites.

    Has anyone else the same problem or is it just me.

    I am finding it incredibly exasperating as a lot of my items have been double listed due to pages hanging and me giving up to try later and finding the item was listed before. At the same time someone was bidding on the items as I was listing them. Fortunately I have duplicate stock for the re-lists that have bids but it is incredibly difficult and slow to cancel the duplicate listings.

    Time to take the dog for a walk methinks and forget about Delcampe for an hour or two or what little hair I have left will be scattered around the computers.

    I've noticed a few sporadic 'hangs' whilst listing and the like, but nothing terminally (or folically) desperate - it seems to be when the system is trying to access third-party sites for whatever reason it does

    Hello, I am in France, I have changed Internet Explorer for Firefox ........ all is faster! And ,now, Delcampe is a real pleasure !

    Hello, I am in France, I have changed Internet Explorer for Firefox ........ all is faster! And ,now, Delcampe is a real pleasure !

    Thanks Lyne.

    I have just had my broadband upgraded from copper cable to fibre optic which has speeded up everything considerably - including Delcampe. However, I find some pages are still exasperatingly slow to load - in particular the feedback page when I wish to leave feedback.

    But hey ho one can't have everything!
