    What I found There are several old postcards and sellers offering a 'Norden Church / Norden, Rochdale, Lancashire' — old postcard listings on sites like eBay show similar images. The current church/community Bamford Chapel & Norden URC is located in Norden (Rochdale) and has photos and documents of the building that closely match the type and location in your photo.d3hgrlq6yacptf.cloudfront.net There is a recent photo of Bamford Chapel on Geograph that shows the same building (corner, window arrangements, portal) — this supports the match between the postcard and this location.geograph.org.uk Why I think it is your card Your card clearly has the text 'Norden' on the edge, and there are early 20th-century cards of churches in Norden (Rochdale). The online listings and local church information (Bamford Chapel/Norden URC) make this the most plausible location.

    hi, many thanks for your time and detailed suggestions. It would seem possible that it is a chapel as no spire but sadly it is not Norden. different window complex. the text on the border is Moon @ son, crewe, not norden.
