    Greetings from the Netherlands
    The possibility Cajunsr gives indicates only that you get a symbol behind your nickname (beach and palmtree) Nothing more.
    The possibility you want (temporarily hold up of all your offered items) is as far as I know only for goldmembers. See My controlpanel/My sales/multiples changes

    I have put 'temporarily away' [with the palm tree symbol although I was not anywhere sunny!] and a brief message in my 'message from seller'.

    It happens and I've seen several sellers with cards I'm interested in with a note saying that they're away for a bit. (yes, even weeks) and I just wait.

    As a Gold member, I have the option to "close and restart all sales later" but it doesn't look like you're a Gold member.
