    To correct the drop of visitor numbers and sales: The total price the buyer sees should be the total including fees. It should not be separated. Shipping should be added by the seller when the buyer gets the bill.

    I think the IT people have got hold of it who don't understand what selling is. To them this is just a bank. The best way to sell is to make things simple.(Item and fees as a sub total + shipping) = Total. As a buyer I just want the total price to me. I suggest to get rid of some of the sub categories. Nothing worse than having to go to the years, the types etc as a buyer I like to be able to review all the items sorted to date high price etc. Don't restrict the seller, provide a place to announce a new item. The buyers email would be nice. The 1000 item bar is way too low. I suggest a minimum item sale price of $5 USD to be listed.

    I think the IT people have got hold of it who don't understand what selling is. To them this is just a bank. The best way to sell is to make things simple.(Item and fees as a sub total + shipping) = Total. As a buyer I just want the total price to me. I suggest to get rid of some of the sub categories. Nothing worse than having to go to the years, the types etc as a buyer I like to be able to review all the items sorted to date high price etc. Don't restrict the seller, provide a place to announce a new item.     If there was a "minimum item sale price of $5", I'd probably lose the few buyers that I still have on Delcampe.

    If there was a "minimum item sale price of $5", I'd probably lose the few buyers that I still have on Delcampe.

    I have a base price of $10 US I try to adhere to. The items are still listed but buyers can offer a lower bid. They tend to buy several items together that they choose eliminating the old problem of grouped items that you have to buy just to get one. I think at the end of the day, as sellers we always need more traffic. I love Delcampe so I try hard to adapt. There are many good things about the site- we can change the descriptions and pictures without cost. I have found that good descriptions attract buyers so adding to them is essential. Some images a very poor and I wonder if there could be a best image competition or a help page for people to bring their images up to date in quality. The site is driven by quality images. I see restrictions on links to other sites. I have a Wordpress magazine for my collectors to read about and see items in my archive. Some of which have sold long ago, but it backgrounds the stamps and shows them on other sites- it provides a journey for the collector. So I wonder if such things might be encouraged by Delcampe in a link page

    Well, I would be gone, store closed, as it would not be viable 'to comply' & Delcampe would have no more fees from my sales (49 sales last month). By your logic that would make me a 'very low seller', and unimportant.

    I am unable to directly compare year on year, because i had a few years hiatus when I only listed intermittently due to personal & health issues, I only started to list again with vigour & enthusiasm spring 2024. My enthusiasm didn't last long. Suddenly the new Delcampe structure was announced & introduced, and it has become increasing apparent that buyers are abandoning Delcampe, and sales are just an unpredictable, intermittent, trickle.
    I have already 'tried hard to adapt', My minimum is now £1.99 (including the Delcampe buyer fee of 46p!)
    A minimum of $5 would be £3.96, including buyer fee of 61p!). That would result in almost zero sales (even allowing lower offers, which I already do).

My enthusiasm didn't last long. Suddenly the new Delcampe structure was announced & introduced, and it has become increasing apparent that buyers are abandoning Delcampe, and sales are just an unpredictable, intermittent, trickle.
