    This is a fiscal/revenue stamp not a postage stamp so you will not find it in a stamp catalogue.

    This is termed a Special Adhesive Stamp used as fiscals from mid-1880 for several years. They were printed in many values up to 1,000R. I believe that the black numbers are merely the date.....

    This is termed a Special Adhesive Stamp used as fiscals from mid-1880 for several years. They were printed in many values up to 1,000R. I believe that the black numbers are merely the date.....

    1866 Special Adhesive fiscal stamp. The 1 rupee lilac was not issued, according to Barefoot. The only 1r Special Ad issued was red.

    I think the illustration is 1R red.
    This was issued in 1868 according to Barefoot [No. 31] but is pretty common as no real value.

    I think the illustration is 1R red.
    This was issued in 1868 according to Barefoot [No. 31] but is pretty common as no real value.
