    Can anyone shed any light on this....it came in a lot of Russian PO's in Turkey and RoPIT stamps, which included a couple of Danilow locals. I see no reference in Michel and Gibbons is pretty hopeless outside the norm!

    This is not my cup of tea but my wild guess would be:
    An Imperial Russia revenue stamp used in the Grand Duchy of Finland
    for a fee of 2 finnish peni for some special purpose? :what:

    Perhaps asking the guys selling Russian and/or Finnish revenue stamps
    at Delcampe could give you the answer...

    This is not my cup of tea but my wild guess would be:
    An Imperial Russia revenue stamp used in the Grand Duchy of Finland
    for a fee of 2 finnish peni for some special purpose? :what:

    Perhaps asking the guys selling Russian and/or Finnish revenue stamps
    at Delcampe could give you the answer...
