    I am a Hungarian collector, and I think I can help to you.
    Just let me know which kind of tarife do you know? Letters, postcards,parcell?
    Well there is a professional book for it is. "Magyar belyegek kezikonyve" which was issued in 1987.
    You can buy it at some Hungarian auction houses.The price is about 2500-3000 HUF (about 12-15 USD+ fee and postage)

    There were 27 tarife exchanges between 01 may 1945 and 31 Aug 1946

    1945.05.01.
    1945.07.02.
    1945.09.16.
    1945.11.01.
    1945.11.16.
    1946.01.14.
    1946.02.01.
    1946.03.01.
    1946.03.16.
    1946.03.26.
    1946.04.01.
    1946.04.11.
    1946.04.23.
    1946.05.01.
    1946.05.10.
    1946.05.20.
    1946.05.27.
    1946.06.01.
    1946.06.11.
    1946.06.17.
    1946.07.24.
    1946.07.01.
    1946.07.04.
    1946.07.08.
    1946.07.12.
    1946.07.18.
    1946.07.24. and finally came new currency "forint" on 1st of august in 1946.
    BUT there were few days( 3) when were not STAMPS!!!!In these days had to pay in money for postage.
    Just let me which tarife do you know, and I will help if I could...
