Delcampe competitions

Does anyone know if Delcampe announces the winning answer to its competitions?

I have had a go at a few of them with the odd wild guess as the number who participate. But I have never been able to find out what the correct answer is to the number who participated so I could see how far out I was in my guess. Delcampe, as far as I can see, only announce the winner and nothing more!

It looks like they've changed it. They used to give the correct answer + the number of participants. That info seems to have disappeared.

    Thanks for the reply Benjamin.

However I still am unable to see the answers to the contests.

All I can see are the ID's of the people who won - not the responses that actually won the item!

Am I looking in the wrong place? Or is this information missing?

I just figured it out. We didn't dig deep enough.
Click on the actual contest, which brings up a new page. At the bottom it tells you the correct answer + number of participants.

I have a feeling, that somehow it has changed - I'm sure I used to be able to find it more easily.

    Thanks Mainly!

You are far better at 'digging out' obscure information than I am.

You were probably a detective in a previous life.:)

It's just that my eyes were wide open this morning after I spotted those 2 in the garden at 6.10 am.

Funnily enough I was out with the pooch at 6.00 and came across two munjac, a fox and a badger during my stroll through the woods and fields. Either these animals are less afraid of humans or I am becoming more observant as I advance towards my dotage!

Maybe, like you have done, I should invest in a decent digital camera and take up photography again. But then I ask myself where will I find the time?

You won't find it in Google. The correct name is Muntjac.

I misspelled it - it should be muntjac.

As Mainly said very common in Bucks, Beds and surrounding areas. The wild ones are descended from animals that escaped from the Duke of Bedford's estates many years ago. They are now considered part of the indigenous wild life around here.

I'm glad you posted that. I typed muntjac in my reply and ended up with a "spelling mistake line" under the word, so I removed the t, feeling rather confused.

Never trust spell checkers, especially for names and scientific words!
