The field "renew" when adding a new item

    on the description of this filed I see:
    Accepted values and their meanings

    empty : renew until sold
    0 : the sale will not be renewed
    1 : renew the sale 1 time
    2 : renew the sale 2 times
    3 : renew the sale 3 times
    4 : renew the sale 4 times
    5 : renew the sale 5 times
    10 : renew the sale 10 times
    99 : renew the sale 99 times


    But passing 'empty' it's impossible. if I don't pass this field the renew value is set to 5. If I pass "NULL", same 5 times
    It's possible to set this as explained 'renew until sold' or the documentation need to be amended with the values accepted ?

    Obviously as usual no one in Delcampe check this forum regularly

    But in the next future D* ask 19 euro per month for the API service (old api system and no support). Great !

    Hello Servitel,

    Passing to renew field a null value make it renew until sold.
    By the way, you'r right, there is a mistake on the documentation: passing 99 value makes it renew until sold aswel (but is deprecated) and it's not empty but a null value.

    $options = [
    'form_params' => [
    'item[renew]' => 'null'
    ]];

    I have tried with your suggestion and now the field renew is empty when I GET item

    This is right for until sold ?

    Yes it's right, it will keep running until sold, when no renew the value is 0.

    @dorian why was my same question never answered? i asked this on 20 jan already

    also please explain how you set 'null' and not null (which renews 5 times as i mentioned, and servitel in this post) to this variable as it is a integer according to the 'documentation'?

    you need to pass 'null' as explained by @dorian, not a numeric value

    Documentation is a little bit out of date :d-unhappy:

    The documentation was not yet amended.

    Use 'null' and works fine.
    On the past the value of 99 was used for "until sold" but D* have decided to change cards on the table :fight3:

    I just updated the documentation.

    Note that the "99" value is still accepted but is deprecated and may be removed in the near future
