    About the item id 489827888 : the renew_count is at 5 so the item will be "closed" after these 5 renewal.
    The parameter is in the menu of the edit item page : 4. Sale ending date => Renewal

    I just made a test with a sale with a end date of 10 minutes.

    And about the notification. I set a url back and I received the post (curl) when closing it.
    Do you still have the problem?
