    We have received your example of sending via the API.

    However, would it be possible to send us the data in a better format? The multi-line "log" format is not easy to read/test and may be subject to error when formatting.

    Ideally, you would only send us the description that is causing the problem.

    Also, your logs are from 02.06.2023 10:55:55. Can you provide us with more recent logs?

    Hello, I made 3 new tests:

    Test1 = article number 1802700052 with the following text in the article description "Test abc äöüÄÖÜ ß", that worked!

    Test2 = item number 1802702320 with the following text in the item description "<b>Test abc äöüÄÖÜ ß</b>", that also worked!

    Test 3 = article number 1802705554 with full HTML content, that no longer worked... no article description is displayed anymore.

    I can only repeat it, it worked perfectly until April 26, 2023. I can only repeat the question, what happened on 26.4. changed.

    So I wouldn't know where to start looking here, because nothing has changed here! After you imported the first fix, the item description was displayed again, but without special characters. After the second fix nothing worked again.
    So I can only state
    a) HTML code is OK (you tested it)
    b) POST is OK, short texts with and without HTML work
    c) the full-length HTML code does not work
    so it can only be somewhere in between and that's where the ominous filter comes to mind. Maybe it has a problem with the length???

    When I test your full-length HTML code it works perfectly (see my previous message).

    I invite you to send part by part to description to see which character does not pass.
    Again, I can only advise you against encoding your descriptions.

    If the problem persists, we can set up a log especially for you to see what is happening with the data sent.

    it is not clear what you mean by unencrypted. e.g.
    for the letter ä we send %C3%A4, for the euro sign we send %E2%82%AC, for the angle bracket on we send %3C, for the apostrophe ' we send %27. This is normal URL encoding. What should we send instead / which bytes?
    Please set up the special Log.

    I've done two more tests.
    1. The angle brackets are sent in plain text, this works with a short test text but not with the long original description.
    2. The whole description was sent without conversion, which in principle cannot work and actually does not work either.

    Hello, I have now reset everything to the status of April 26th, 2023 and made a new template only with the German texts. That's working now. I don't have the time for anything else at the moment. What font do you use on the article page, I would like to make it uniform. Kind regards

    seems to work, but doesn't. No error message is returned, this is the response:

    Also, the return no longer matches the API documentation description -- not sure when that happened but it is confusing.

    I'm sending only english, no foreign characters.

    Can you please look into this and let me know what's wrong?

    I tried to post the entire XML message but apparently that broke the forum listing mechanism and it only printed one line from my message (above).

    The items showed up in the listings several hours later, but without any gallery pictures. I haven't changed my listing software -- what has changed?

    Hello,
    what is also important in this context: There must be no spaces or tabs etc. between the angle brackets, i.e. between the tags, within the HTML code. This formatting to make the coding easier to read must all be removed before posting the HTML code.

    It's all 7000+ of them -- the pictures display in the embedded HTML item description, but not in the gallery. Here is one example -- the only thing that changes is my item number on the end:

    It looks like your server timed out when we tried downloading your images. I can see thousands of errors in our internal logs.

    These errors cause a delay in the processing of your articles. When our servers can't find the images, we have a retry system that can cause delays in publishing the sale. After a few tries, the item is published without images.

    Make sure your server can handle the load to avoid this problem

    I tried adding one item and then a few minutes later another item, and the result is the same -- success reported but no listings appear -- maybe in a few hours.

    I have a dedicated, hosted 4 core server with SSDs in a managed data center -- it has almost no load (unsurprising- it's a stamp website) and it has been working for years, until the new update. It can certainly support a request for two images. Does the error you show say anything else?

    Just to be sure I tested the images by putting them in the browser URL field and they come up.

    Are the images are still delimited by semicolons? Is there some other issue?

    I tried to manually fetch an image from one of our servers and the call timed out. But when I tried on another server, in another datacenter, and it worked.

    It looks like our IP addresses are blacklisted on your side, probably because we did a lot of calls in a short time range.

    Can you whitelist these addresses and retry an upload ?

    Ok, 82.146.118.160 and 161 weren't blocked, but 152 and 178 were, so I unblocked them and then it worked.

    we are currently experiencing the same problem as in April/May this year.

    Since yesterday, 9.09.2023, the article transfer with MARKTPLATZ MANAGER via the API interface to Delcampe no longer works.

    The MARKETPLACE MANAGER reports article export completed, but the articles do not arrive at Delcampe!

    What is the problem?
