    Well just seen the not quite so cheap FreeBay are offering UK sellers 9 days of limited free listings.
    Seems they've picked up the vibes of disgruntled sellers here and are trying to get some of Delcampes lost business.
    I may have to go and give it a try though reluctantly. Still trying to find a viable alternative for my low cost lots. I have found a couple of possible alternatives that appear to meet my needs.
    It would be a shame to have to move but just done a calculation on my august sales. 1858 lots sold for a total of £341.22 i.e. an average of less than 19p per item. Check my feedback and you can see that the feeling of collectors is that I sell quality material economically. Therefore I wish I could afford to stay here where the market seemed to be getting bigger and the number of buying collectors ever increasing.
    Anyhow new material to list just got to find a market place to put it.

    On free listing weekends I prepare my lots in Turbo Lister (description, postage, picture, etc.) in advance in the usual way, then use copy and paste to put them on to eBay proper

    Time-consuming as you say, but a lot quicker than starting from scratch every time, plus any unsold items are stored ready for relisting

    With practice you can begin to anticipate when a free weekend is likely to occur and start preparing listings in Turbo Lister to give yourself a flying start
