    I was trying to find some material in Stamps/Albania , but what did I see ? The COMPLETE auction from Prestige Behrphilately is placed in this category , regardless the itemdescription.

    Normally if we (the 'simple' sellers) list an item in a 'wrong' category , it is updated by Delcampe. Even if I think that it was the correct category, there is no discussion possible.
    Okay,fine, if it helps to Delcampe clean, so let it be and move the 'incorrect' items to the correct category.

    But why can a Prestige-seller and/or Delcampe put over 700 items in a (lloks like) random category .... ???

    I am confused and somewhat disappointed..

    I agree entirely with the first bit of your comment re. unilingualism and with the various comments about 'flooding' the site, but regarding scans - it depends entirely what you are looking for - if it's a single lot then generally there is a scan, but if it's a collection or range of material, I agree they generally don't, probably due to time constraints.

    There is an easy way round this - go to the site of the individual business and ask for scan/s of individual lots if they appears interesting, and normally they will do this without a problem - I've done it a few times and found interesting material on which I have subsequently bid.

    These businesses / advertisers or whatever you wish to call them are not, in my view, using Delcampe really as a sales medium, rather as an advertising / display medium with a potential of additional sales / bids at some stage in the process.

    Whether Sebastian is ' recommending' them is perhaps also a debatable point - i have always asumed that such Prestige advertisers are paying D* for their slots and therefore are adding to the overall income for the site, which if it didn't exist might well lead to higher charges for the rest of us to make up the shortfall!

    When they started Prestige D* / they told us, that it was a site parallel with the normal auction-site.

    Now Prestige is integrated in 'our' website , but there is never a way that we can integrate into Prestige....

    Fair point!!! - but do we want to ?- the Prestige contributors are large scale commercial auction houses, whereas the vast majority of marketplace sellers are, i suspect, parttime dealers / collectors

    It is not only Prestige sellers who list stamps at ridiculous prices. There is one seller who has listed many, many individual stamps in the Spanish section at 0.49€ each. The problem is that they are all valued at 0.20€ each in the Edifil catalogue. Such listings at such unrealistic prices only clutter up the categories and make it harder for buyers to find stamps listed by seller who price their stamps realistically.

    It is not only Prestige sellers who list stamps at ridiculous prices. There is one seller who has listed many, many individual stamps in the Spanish section at 0.49€ each. The problem is that they are all valued at 0.20€ each in the Edifil catalogue. Such listings at such unrealistic prices only clutter up the categories and make it harder for buyers to find stamps listed by seller who price their stamps realistically.

    I totally agree ! These Delcampers must be also banned from here...
