    I have received an email from Delcampe telling me to change my contact details to include business information to comply with the UK tax authorities.

    I am self-employed in a business partnership and I have both an HMRC partnership reference number and national insurance number. When I add information to Delcampe's contact details I get the message "The "Company registration number or trade register number" field is not in the right format: 8 digits (XXXXXXXXX) Scotland/Wales: 2 letters + 6 digits (LLXXXXXX)".

    As both my company number and national insurance number are longer than eight digits, what must I do?

    Thank you for your message.

    As mentioned in our email, your TIN can only be added starting from November 3rd.
    At this stage, there is no need to worry. From November 3rd, your tax information page will be updated, and you will be able to add your TIN without any issues.

    If you are unable to add your information at that time, we recommend contacting us directly through our contact form: Link (https) rather than sharing confidential details on our public forum.
