I have had no problems using the Lister with the new site or modifying items within the Lister.

What is it you are trying to modify?

Can not change from Fixed to Auction

You will need to upload the auctions and change them to fixed price if it cannot be done in the Lister.

This can be done in bulk - not individually - so long as you have no other auctions running in the same categories. It is quite easy to do so come back here if you cannot work it out.

Just to follow on you can change from auction to fixed price and vice versa in the lister - but only one item at a time. This would be quite tedious if you have a lot of items - much easier to modify them once they are live. I did not get the error you described when making such an adjustment and I tried both variations in the lister with a couple of my phonecard listings.
