    I have closed all my sales because the surcharge per item sold made my selling strategy non-viable. I am in the process of moving my sales items to alternative websites. To check my stock I printed my "closed sales without buyer " country by country. I found that there were very many items which were in my stock all numbered up properly but these were not in Delcampe. It would appear, therefore, that these items have been hidden from potential buyers for some time.
    It may be a good idea for other sellers to check "Ongoing sales" against their stock occasionally to find out if Delcampe is hiding any of their items.
    I was very sorry to be forced to leave Delcampe but this makes me regret less the enforced move.

    I have also mentioned this Search problem some time back.

    Search option has to be very effective in Delcampe, because I myself bought some time back the items which were listed in 2008-2010 at a very reasonable price. I wonder how it is available even now when local market has gone up.

    I as a seller, probably I have to sit and hatch for the listed items in Delcampe.

    I suggest The Programmer Team makes search really more effective to reap benefit. ..........

    Any more feedback is welcome.

    Hi Tom,
    Besides photo upload problems, I have also experienced (Only because
    I am checking I think) great discrepancies on my listings given in the Home Categories list to the quantity of Auctions that actually open on a search. I have asked Delcampe for some guidance of what the matter could be but still await a response. I have monitored 59 lines of the Home Categories on three occasions to find on the first 115 Auctions missing, that was 67 Missing on the second search and then it became 118 Auctions missing in the 3rd Search. This is for approx 1/3 of my total
    listings (presently 2398) so on average and in proportion I could on a regular basis not have 200-350 Auctions that might not show up on a search. Let us hope we are given some early guidance by Delcampe dedicated staff Alexisgreco in water leashed England.

    These problems seem to be going both ways. On Sunday I checked and somewhere there were 6 items missing.

    I've just done a check - my selling stats and my about me page state that I have 20393 items. Yet, I've checked my listing on all the main sites and that comes to 20398.

    If you look at my African postcards - my shop states 461, yet when I click to view al African postcards it says there are 463.

    Now I know for a fact that I have not listed or sold any African postcards today, so it can not be a questions of the site not having updated.

    My store says I have 11117 European postcards, but when I go to view them all, there are only 11109.

    And there is also a discrepancy in "topics"

    With over 20K items listed, its virtually impossible to give examples, unless I want to spend days on end going through every single one of my listings, but definitely something is not right.

    Same here! - my selling stats tell me I have 5389 items listed, but when I go to 'See the store of Moonstone' there are apparently 5367!

    I've better things to do than go looking for 21 items, but can Delcampe please sort this out!

    How refreshing that there is finally a voice on the subject of non-visibility of
    items listed on Delcampe. Here is a fine example for your IT team. All my
    listings on Delcampe are labour intensive, no speed fix collective bulk lists.
    I have presently 2398 items listed. Just one I have monitored TANZANIA in
    STAMPS, the listings (458) has remained the same will all my searches on
    the Category place BUT on 23rd, only 399 showed up, on 27th only429,on
    28th 404 showed, on 29th 450 showed up and on 30th at 1.00am only 401
    showed up, making the searches erratic and not of some pattern or Formula.
    I have 4 emails pending some attention from Dimitri who is only available to
    attend to matters Monday to Wednesday. I suppose if I fail to hear today, my
    wait will be another further four days.

    Well, Mr. @benjamin, and in your message to me when you were responding to the same kind of inquiry, you wrote "On our side, it seems to work fine. ....We cannot reimburse your commission fee because you are the only person responsible for the availability of the items that you put on sale (see our Terms & Conditions)."
    This was on Jan 28th, and here on Jan 30th, you seem to accept that it is a real technical issue on site and DELCAMPE IS RESPONSIBLE for availability TOO.
    Now, I insist on my demand: Delcampe should refund my selling fees that were charged for the sale of an item, which I could not delete in time because of its invisibility. I may have forgootten to check again and again (how long?), I may have decided that for some reason the item is really absent, and just forgot about it. But it RE-APPEARED and was purchased. I lost money and faced problems with an innocent buyer. If I want my money back, I must post non-positive feedback to that guy - with no reason at all (and any comment will b a lie). So I want my fees back - be it only 1 cent - without giving any feedback to buyer.
    Furthermore, after your response, I sent TWO other messages to Delcampe, seemingly to you (?) and got no response. I showed other items, which were not visible, then showed one of them re-appeared. Dimitri asks for examples - there you had them, why didn't you respond?
    And again: having accepted that the issue on site really exists, you should also accept that my money should be returned - item #0019425905.

    NOTE: one of my quoted items is still absent. I start thinking that maybe I did not re-list it. In Sold Folder, I see it, but only SOLD copies, no Closed copy. So I am about to list it again, but.... the old copy may re-appear any time and create duplication. When last copy is sold, there will still remain an out-of-stock item on Delcampe, and same story will start again.

    Giving examples does not make much sense unless you react IMMEDIATELY. Bcause before you get to "verifying", the lost listings are very much likely to re-appear. I have given 2 examples to another staff member @benjamin, asked him to check and get back, but got no response. The next day, one of those 2 items appeared on site, I told ben that the other one is still absent. Now, the other one is also there.

    Secondly, reading others' complaints, I am sure that this is the same topic: if number of ongoing listings constantly changes, then a number of them is constantly dis- and re-appearing.
    Thirdly, thanks for pointing to that method of search. I always searched in "My Store" and that is where items frequently disappear. That search allows searching by key-word, so it's quick and convenient. While search in "ongoing" has no useful filters, and you must go over pages, say alphbetically, trying to guess on which page is the letter F. Why don't you add one more filter - "by key-word" on seller's "ongoing sales" pages?

    Last but not least: what does it practically mean when items don't show in STORES? Doesn't it mean that potential buyers never see them in their searches? I think it does. The "My ongoing sales" is definitely a page that may be viewed only by the given seller, while he (the seller) wants full visibility of his stock for buyers. Because presence of items in "ongoings" is good for editing/deleting your own listings, but certain number of listings is NOT VISIBLE for others.
    Anyway, from now on, I will use that way of search; will get back if I discover absent listings there too.

    I then realised that the stats show the total number of ITEMS for sale whilst the store shows number of individual SALES.

    I have a number of sales with multiple items and this is the reason for the difference. I checked by changing one of my sales from a quantity of one to a quantity of 51 and the total in stats had increased by 50 but the number of sales in my store remained the same.

    Maybe this is the same in your case?

    My selling stats showed 10,162 whilst my store showed 9,975.

    I then realised that the stats show the total number of ITEMS for sale whilst the store shows number of individual SALES.

    I have a number of sales with multiple items and this is the reason for the difference. I checked by changing one of my sales from a quantity of one to a quantity of 51 and the total in stats had increased by 50 but the number of sales in my store remained the same.

    Maybe this is the same in your case?

    Ahhhhh!!!!

    You are indeed correct - when I take multiple items I have for sale and count as 1, then it all works out OK - many thanks and well done for working that out.

    I wonder if this is what is confusing some others as well?
