SLOW again and pages not loading/hanging

    Is there some more unannounced site maintainance going on?

    Pages are very slow to load or hanging or not loading at all.

    This is playing havoc with my packing of items paid for. I have tried two computers and also asked a friend in a different part of the country to try and the same problem is occuring.

    I thought these problems have been solved! For a professional site supposedly offering a professional platform to sellers and buyers this is really not good enough. My time is valuable and I cannot afford to waste hours on site glitches that crop up out of the blue all the time.:(

    Glad to see there is at last an announcement about the difficulties.

    I trust they will not be long in being resolved - and I hope my customers have the extra patience to wait a little longer for their items. My packing time is now over and I have given up on Delcampe for today unless the TV only has tripe as its offering for this evening.

    I actually find those gobbledygook messages quite amusing. Where the bad translations do bother me is in the t&c's and in the help pages.

    Given the time the problems started it was probably after office hours in Belgium and there was no staff available to do a proper translation.

    What drives customers away is not being able to access the listings due to these recurring glitches. Many of my customers buy multi items of 30 to 40 items so spend a fair while at their computers buying. If they can't access the listings when they want to it means a loss of sales.

    What about the occasional buyer as well - they come into the site and find they can't access anything so they go away probably never to return:(.
