'Mark all items as sent' Feature

    Can anyone explain how this new feature works?

    The 'Mark all these items as sent' button appears in the 'Print invoice' process.

    I have tried to use this feature and clicked on the button but nothing appears to happen. None of the items are marked as 'sent'. :crying2:

    Am I missing a trick here? Is there a setting that needs to be changed somewhere else?

    Any guidance would be appreciated as this feature would save me some time and obviate the need to manually tick each item as 'sent'.

    Hi Allan,

    I haven't tried it yet, but noticed the button yesterday when I was printing my invoices.

    However, if you sort your closed sales by buyer, rather then ending date, you can mark all items as sent with a single click anyhow.

    Thanks for your guidance. I'd never noticed this feature before!

    Unfortunately I tried it on a buyer with 250+ purchases. My system sort of ground to a halt but eventually it worked. I'm sure I will use this method again if the other new feature doesn't work.

    Perhaps a Delcampe techie would like to comment on the use of the new feature?

    My personal 'learn something new' time: I've never noticed this as I don't print invoices. I've always used the 'sent' option on closed auctions as Marianne suggests

    You weren't seeing things.

    But at the same time that appeared, something else also appeared for a short while.

    Can't remember exactly what it was called - it was in the control panel under the "my selling" section. A "customer discount card" - I clicked on it and it said something like preset a %discount for repeat custom within an x time period - the % and X to be decided by the seller. That could be a nice feature.

    It seems like we have more changes to the site to look forward to in the New Year.

    And I thought I'd had a senile moment ... again.

    The whole discounting function in Delcampe needs an overhaul so any improvements (assuming they have been well thought through) will be welcome.

    However, I think Delcampe should take a little more care not to be testing / previewing new features on the 'live' system?!?
