    Looks good to me too - some of the categories have obviously grown since I proposed the last round of expansions

    Not too sure about OP's suggestion of Wirral though - there are several towns/villages on the Wirral which may have cards but which sit just as easily in Cheshire, and after all, the Wirral is just a geographical bit of that county

    Areas are difficult things to manage, as there is often little agreement on what a particular area should or shouldn't cover - for instance, when does 'Dartmoor' become 'not Dartmoor'?

    We've already had problems with 'new' counties like Cumbria which embraces two former counties and parts of two others, and Avon which has come and gone

    We need to think very carefully about introducing too many categories - sure, quite a good number of sellers have knowledge of what should go where, but as you know all too well, there are lots of sellers out there who either don't know or don't care where cards should be placed, and we run the real risk of making an enormous stick to beat our collective Moderators' backs with if we introduce too many 'minor' categories - at least with only one category we know that things will probably be in the right place although I'm sure there's someone out there just waiting to prove that theory wrong too!

    By and large though, the responses I've seen so far are pretty good

    Hah! I'm having such trouble with my knee today that I'm currently doped up on painkillers, so I wouldn't feel it if you poked my nerve with a needle!

    As you know, I am a bit of a purist when it comes to vintage cards and vintage counties, and do prefer to see cards listed under the counties they were in at the time of issue. If you start introducing Cumbria then what about Cleveland, Humberside, Avon, West Midlands, all the Welsh counties and the Scottish regions? It could be an almighty can of worms

    Bournemouth is a bit awkward as it is one of the few moving towns named in the categories. I prefer to see it listed under Hampshire but I'm quite prepared to 'go with the flow' if others want to relocate it (that's the medication kicking in again!)
    but remember there are other towns (like Warrington or Slough) just waiting to trip you up

    My guess is if you asked 100 people to define 'The City' the vast majority would be unable to give you a decent answer

    I think it is already adequately covered with Central London, but there again, when does Central London become London Suburbs? We need clearly-defined boundaries, not subjective named areas

    The United Nations categorization includes Egypt in the Middle East so you are creating one problem whilst solving another, and interestingly the term is used to encompass North Africa and Western Asia, so technically it is correct to place it in Asia!

    Africa end at eastern border of Egypt so Israel can't be part of that continent, but the creation of a Middle east category would solve many problems
