I posted a reply to delcampes new fees demosstrating thet fees in £s had been increased by 59% but this only became apparent when August was invpi9ced in early Septemeber. The moderator in my mind deleted the post as being out of time which is frankly a nonsense.I also asked why fees when Europs are used were only increased 36% and I asked why wiith no reply. there vwas also0 no rep-loy to my query as to why fees had been put up by so large an amount. This is a very reasonable question.
The moderator obviously did not think so. This is meant to be a forum for discussion and I object to delcampe banning free speech which is what they have done by removing my post. These figures were based on my own account using the different fee parameters for July as against August. I will now have to reconsider where I sell my goods with these massive increases and no doubt others may be of the same view.
The fees are automaticaloly adjusted to inflation in sales and are charged on increased postage etc anyway so I am stunned by the effect of the increases of August . What do you other sellers think?

I am already in the process of moving my lower priced items elsewhere I'm afraid otherwise I am selling at a loss, Its a shame as I like this site but I have already been told I must not discuss the increased fees.

HOW CRAZY IS IT WHEN YOU7 ARE TOLD YOU UST NOT DISCUSS INCREASED FEES - thats what a forum is for to have feedback between all. I still want to know why a m59% increase - are we philatalists subsi8dising the extensiopn of tehj rest of the site.
Its crazy that if you sell a snmall value item the fress as a percentage nare astronomical.
Are delacmpe trying to get rid of philatelists as they are going the right way to do so . Perhaps, they have forgotten where the roots of the site were ! Sure seems that way. There
banning of any discussion is a disgrace and they obviously are not prepared to answer why the BIG increase 59%!!! Sorry delcampe you are oput of order traeting your loyal customers like this!
Hi...Delcampe lowered its flag on low-value sales when it first introduced the flat-rate per-item fee a while back and truly buried it when those fees were doubled in August. These, of course, are not listing fees but sales fees (see POTUS Ministry of Alternative Truths for more details)...
Yes of course a forum is the right place to discuss topics and D were a tad cowardly in banning the topic.....but, frankly, what is the point in discussing a fait accompli?
I have to say,. though, that I don't necessarily disagree with their decision because listings were becoming buried in mountains of duplicated low-value junk and buyers were moving elsewhere. It might well turn out to be a good thing for those sellers remaining on the site.....just a positive "maybe" at this stage
I started listing low-value items elsewhere a couple of years ago .....
