Hi I have a large collection of US postal cards to split up dating from around early 1880s - 1930s (over 3000)! All used with various cancels US stars etc. I am English and do not know much about these cards.

I cannot seem to find catalogue values easily on the net. Are there any decent catalogues around???

Many of mine have added interest in some have advertising backs like the first one pictured. All are also addressed to a Cotton Mill in Connecticut and most have order replies for loom parts and other interesting machine parts for mills and other items or offering services and supplies. So someone collecting Textile/cotton industry related items may be very interested.

In a way it is a shame to split them up as they are like a small archive of the mail received from a Cotton Mill, but I am not sure which museums or institutions in US would be interested.

If anybody can help with a Postal Card catalogue and values of cancels I would appreciate it. For example are there card variations for the same type like line breaks?

Where can I get the basic card values used?

    Thanks Plumpostcards
