Misleading stamp images

I have just encountered a seller who is using a generic image of a stamp but that just represents the stamp being sold. It is not the actual stamp. Is that deceit allowed on Delcampe? Jeff

I don't know if it's allowed or not.
Personally, I don't buy from sellers who use generic/stock photos for their images.
I want to see a "proper" photo/scan to reassure myself that the seller actually has the item.

It was a fixed price sale.
That was the first thing I did, have not had a reply.

I didn't realize it at the time I purchased it until I found the identical stamp image on fixed price offerings at their web site.

It would be nice to be able to ignore or blacklist such sellers that use generic stamp images. With ignoring a seller I mean that stamps from the ignored seller would not be displayed when browsing the site.

I understand that there is a seller blacklisting feature available for buyers already, but it seems not to behave like this? BTW, how does it behave from the buyer point of view?

Also (as a buyer of mint stamps) I would like to ignore sellers that only sell used stamps or that list hundreds of similar stamps which hardly ever sell. This would make it faster to browse the stamps that I am interested in.
