    Not much you can do, really. It happens that people die, are incapacitated or their interests just move elsewhere. Delcampe won't know unless they are told, no doubt there are many accounts where there has been no activity for a long time, but that doesn't mean much as I've had buyers from long dormant accounts come back.

    Assuming you haven't paid, then all you have lost is the frustration of not getting an item you wanted.

    You could, but I don't know that there's much they will do, providing the listing is not taking up a lot of server space which I doubt it is.

    They might close the sales listing so avoiding any further problems such as you have had, and leave the account open. It is doubtful that, on any site, more than 10% of those registered are actually active. eBay did do a cull earlier this year, including a long forgotten account I'd opened at one time, and I suppose Delcampe might have to do the same at some time but I would be sure they recognise that the vast majority of accounts are inactive at any time.

    Problem is where do you draw a line? As I've said, I've had people resurrect their Delcampe activity perhaps 3-4 years after the last time.

    It seems strange this person as listings running if he as not been active for three years, maximum listings are much less than three years :pc_user2:
