For the last few weeks I've been down with an undiagnosed problem. Lots of pain and sleepless nights.

I'm currently going through a succession of tests, trying to establish what's going on and have swallowed more pills and had more needles stuck into me in the last 2 weeks than in the previous 5+ years.

As a result, I am not listing much; all my auctions are still live and I try to process any sales as soon as possible, but there may be delays, because I have to rely on others for help.

For the same reason, I've not posted much on the forum either.

I hope to be back to normal sooner rather than later, because I'm fed up being stuck indoors with the only outings being visits to doctors/hospitals.

All the best - I can sympathise as I am currently going through similar problems. It will be a big relief when you finally get a proper diagnosis and the correct treatment (whatever it is) begins.

You will find the postcards will keep your mind off things - that is when you are fit and able to cope.

Anyway hope to see you back posting with full vigour as soon as you are able.

We all miss you Marianne and hope that everything soon turns out for the better - knowing the cause of your symptoms is half the treatment and the start to recovery

The present weather doesn't help matters either, and I know what it's like to be stuck indoors whilst recovering from my knee replacement; at least I had the Open Golf and Cricket Tests to occupy my days laid up

    Get well soon!

Thank you everyone for your kind words.

I got the result of the scariest test back today and that is normal. Excellent news, but no further advance in establishing a diagnosis.

I'm sure most of you have already noticed my increased presence on the forum.

After a really grim time and loads of tests for all sorts of "nasties", including a number of different cancers, I finally decided to start the road to recovery at the beginning of September, but it's only since this week that I seem to be back to full strength again and all the aches and pains have disappeared.

All test results have come back negative and the whole episode has been put down as a "really nasty virus".

So, it's finally back to listing at full speed and a normal presence on the forum and I'm very happy to be back.
