using recommend to a friend button

    Dear Admins,
    Please let me know how can I use the" recommend to a friend" button.
    I just started to use it about 6 months ago sending out messages to collectors.
    Delcampe support sent a message that someone complained because of this message.
    It has happen about a month ago.
    Today I have got another complain, and the support sent a message that if there will be another
    complain my account will be suspended.
    I have 11 years of work invested to build my shop on Delcampe.
    I understand, that I did something wrong, but I think that's not a solution for a 10+ years daily active member
    to suspend his account for what I did.
    I just tried to get more sales.
    I have no idea how to increase my sales if I have no rights to contact customers.
    I'm afraid that I'll lose my delcampe business. Consider so risky to invest more time (4-10 hors daily) if ther's a chance to be kicked out.

    Really sorry, but this situation is not so funny for me. Even I understand that I have no rights to send out messages using "Recommend to a friend".
    Going to read Terms and Conditions once again after many years, but it doesn't help me this time I think.
    Any advice is welcome. :help:

    Support doesn't communicate with me.
    No answer to my e-mail messages.
    Desperated.
    Really sad that It has happen.
    Never suspected it.
    I use Delcampe 4-15 hours a day / 7/7, invested many hours to build up the shop, respected the rules, did nothing wrong, just
    this time used abusive the "recommend to a friend button).
    First time when I have been reported by a person who is on my blacklist. A very rude unpolite person... I have got an e-mail from Delcampe to stop sending unwanted messages.
    I stopped it and next week I tried to send to my customers, thinking that can be done.
    Got the second e-mail from Delcampe that if there will be another complain my account will be suspended.
    Of course I stopped to send any message and I'll forgot for good to use the "recommend to a fried" button, but still have nightmares because of no communication with Delcampe support.
    Still desperated.

    I don't think the "recommend a friend" button is intended as a means of tauting/promoting your own stock.

    Rather a tool to alert real friends/acquaintances to items you know they are interested in.

    With the new "spam" regulations that have come into force earlier this year, Delcampe will have to take a firm stance.

    Simply, don't use the facility again in the way you were using it.
