The Delcampe password change was a precautionary measure in case there may have been a security breach. In all probability there was no breach at all as all the hooha was caused by a phishing Email.

Delcampe simply took the precautions of altering passwords in case there was the remotest possibility of any problems.

If you use any Email address on the Internet you are going to be bombarded with spam - one of the hazards of using it I'm afraid. There are 'robots' that scour the internet harvesting Email addresses and these are sold on CD's containing up to 20 million at a time that are then used to send out spam of all sorts. If you click on one of them your spam then increases dramatically as the spammers then know yours is a 'live' address. There are also programmes that will send out millions of Email to potential Email addresses knowing that a small proportion are genuine. Here - you may never ever have used your Email address yet it may receive hundreds of spam messages. I have a BT email address I have never ever used for anything yet it receives loads of spam. So in all probability it is very doubtful that there is anything that Delcampe have or have not done that is responsible for your spam.

More email addresses are harvested from other people's address books (thanks, Microsoft) than by hacking sites and servers

Very true - yet another reason why Delcampe is most unlikely to be the culprit in OP's spam attack.

Then why has no one else reported this phenomenon? Do you really think you would be the only one targetted.

Spam Emails are a fact of life and nothing to do with Delcampe for the reasons outlined previously.

Regretfully, I have to say that I am receiving at 5 or 6 phishing "ticket" or similar mails every day on an email address that is used exclusively for Delcampe sales. Paypal, skrill & other auction sites mail goes elsewhere

I am also a bit bemused that this rash of emails started AFTER Delcampe changed all the passwords.

Whether or not this is the fault of Delcampe, I will have to change my Delcampe registered email address again as a further precaution and ditch the old one plus change my password yet again if my efforts to isolate these mails as spam fails.

    Very irritating.......
