website updates/maintenance?

Default settings seem to be all over the place.

Searching gives "Advanced syntax" as the first option, instead of "all words"

Any search result or browse category/seller shows "closing soon" first instead of "newly listed", even though that is the button that is ticked at the side.

Is the site being updated again or is this a problem unique to me?

You can perform your normal search, but you have to click the drop down arrow and select "all words".

Advanced syntax has always been there, but not as the default option.
It allows you amongst other things to exclude words from a search, i.e. search for buckingham but exlude palace.

We're now at a complete crawl. I can easily go off and have a snooze while waiting for searched items/ someone's store to load.

    Hi guys.
This same issue with search engine happened something like a month or two ago. The worst part of it is that you are no longer able to search a certain seller's listings by a KEY-WORD. Just open your own store - all listings - then enter a word to search: you will receive several hundred thousands listings from all over Delcampe. 'Cause the machine searches among millions of listings of ALL sellers, instead of looking through the given seller's listings.
The obvious reason is that in the "search options" box, the option "seller" has disappeared. Yes, "all words" are replaced with "advanced" too, but that's nothing awful - just chose what you want and you're done.
As said, the worst thing is that you cannot search among one seller's listings.
If I want to close or edit one certain listing of mine, I am now forced to go to my Store with 3000 listings, arange them alphabetically, then guess the page where that listing may be found.
If I want to find a CLOSED listing (say to re-list it) - THAT'S really pain, it takes half an hour to do.
Last time, I asked Delcampe, and they fixed this in a couple of days - just put back the "by seller" option in Search Options box where it belongs. So when someone of the staff reads this - unless they are all watching soccer games - the issue will be fixed.

Right you are. It's fixed now. The problem lasted only 5-6 hours today.
    Good job on D's side.

I spotted a post about it on the France forum earlier on and checked. It was ok then for me. Now it's gone wrong again. The same 2 things.

The search facility has gone haywire again - I tried to search within a sub-category and the system defaulted to 'All Specialized Sites'

Yes, as everybody has noticed, the problem is back again,- by the way, 2 days already. Causes a lot of trouble. I find my listings alphabetically all through Delcampe (well, some filters help to shorten the list), but one listing seems to have been closed recently. and as the closed listing get re-listed NOT IMMEDIATELY, but after quite some time (several hours to half a day sometimes), I am now unable to find it.
Normally, I would turn from ongoing listings to closed ones - WITHIN MY OWN ITEMS) and that's all you need to do. But now - just imagine the quantity of closed lidtings on Delcampe - considering that they stay there for several months!
Is it such a cosmic task to fix this once and forever (or for a couple of months at least)?
