    Hi there, :o

1.) I would be most happy if I get:
the OPTION to CHOOSE more than one group
when posting a new item for sale.

    click: Dutsch
    click: English
    click: French
    click: German
    click: International
    click: Italian
    click: Spanish

2.) and an OPTION to CHOOSE currency.

... as you fellows will most probably come up with 7 new sites.

...and people will anyway post text in a language which doesn´t match
the group. I´ve been a regular advertiser for ads, in english, in
non-english papers for years which successfully works. I even tried german in Russian and Ukranian papers and they printed it in german
but with cyrillic letters and it worked pretty well, I can tell. Another tip
is to publish a text upside down and you will be remembered almost
    forever.

Anyway, If you will not give the OPTIONS # 1 and #2 for the Delcampers, will you kick me out if my webmaster fix a program for me so I don´t have to repost everything if I want to post an item in more than one language group? (I promise the text will not be upside down
    or with cyrillic letters....

    Dear dear dear

Alright then. We ask Delcampe to extend for one more option:
Option for 8 choises for language goups. The 8th alternative is
a CHOICE for ALL language groups.

Well if 99,99 % will choose ALL langugage groups: You were "right". I was "right", and we don´t need any polls and the QUITE MAJORITY has spooken. And the new minority can be happy and say: "After all it´s like before but it feels more like my new home " . Even the Delcampe team
can feel happy as it´s most probably too hard to change the direction now when the boat is in the middle of the sea and want to come to the harbour and enjoy the fruits without loosing time.

To have choises feels good that you participate no? Better
    than chaines, right?

Let´s be realistic. The Delcampe team has already started to defend
their plans before implementing them. ( ref;.the mails and french forum etc.)

We are shouting from the backyard man. Let Captain Seb give us all some options and his team can evalute the result later.

    Regards,
    Mats :whitewine:

    Hello,

I already posted about this matter on the french forum. I believe Delcampe team didn't realized the importance of english auctions in euro currency for many members, not only from english speaking countries with euro currency (Malta, Ireland) but also from a lot of other countries inside EU (Portugal, Greece, Sweden or Lithuania), and also from third part countries, naimly East Europe, where the Euro currency is fully recognized.

Since I believe it's not possible to make a petition to the Queen of England to decree the end of the british pound and the use of euro currency (for as to use the new delcampe.co.uk), it is very important to find other way to list in english and in euro currency.

Meanwile, c'est la vie, I'd like to ask Delcampe team to redirect my ongoing sales to the new french website.

Most of my actual titles looks like this:

Portugal Azores postal stationery Windmill Faial island / entier postal Moulin a vent Île Faial

where applicable I will change manually the order english/french to french/english

    Best regards,
    Adolfo Palma

    Dear Vaspost69,

If I understand right all sales with titles ONLY in english language will be redirected not for the french site in Euros but to the UK site, and automatically changed from Euro into British Pounds at that day exchange rate, or they will be moved to the US site, in US dollars.
In the french site Delcampe will allow english text on the title provide you write first the same title in french language.

I will probably post a couple od new items directly in the new US site is US dollars but I don't want to see all my actual Euro sales in GBP or USD at actual prices (my starting prices for some items are to low to make a minimum decent profit if for any reason the exchange rate Euro/USD/GBP change 10 or 20 per cent). I'm in the process of placing all my 2950 items titles first in french and only after that in english. Plus, about 80 per cent of the Delcampe members are from France and as a seller I need to have the bulk of my sales where the buyers are.

The Delcampe change is of course severe, one way or another, for all european members others than French/Spanish/Italian/German. I understand the split of the sites in the sense Delcampe want to enter in big markets like the US, but also Spain or Italy, where many prospective members don't want to see items in "funny" languages others than their ones (and in the case of the US in other currencies others than their one)
Feebay have automatized customer service and high selliing fees this days and Delcampe with this good personalized service and low fees can be a big challenger to them in the US market (and probably also in Italy, Spain or Germany) in the collectibles area.

However, I don't believe it is a good move to go for prospective markets and don't protect where they and we have until now. Yes, Delcampe.net will be available but no one can post directly there with titles and text in english and prices in euro currency. Since several members already posted about this problem maybe things will change in the near future. I hope.
