Marking item as sent!

    I'm probably having a 'senior' moment here!!

    With the new changes how does one mark an item as sent. I use the closed list to pack items and have previously simply ticked the 'sent' box to show the item has been shipped. This has now seemed to have disappeared.

    Can anyone enlighten an old duffer like me?

    You can have your "senior" moment and I have my "blonde" moment :D: :oops:

    See those silly little icons under your sold item with the words Follow up. If you hover over them, one of them says "not sent", click on it and it will "light up".

    However, I am trying to print a packing slip for an item and I get a pop up saying that there are no outstanding items for this buyer that have been paid for and that I must mark it as payment received first, but that icon doesn't seem to work.

    Alleluya!! I've seen the light!

    One simply clicks on the icon and it changes colour to indicate item sent.

    This will take a bit of getting used to for someone like me who tends to get set in my ways - but hey ho one has to adapt!

    Thanks Mainlypostcards - our postings seem to have 'crossed' in the ether!

    Even with these changes things are not so dramatic as those that used to happen on Ebay (if we are allowed to mention that word here?).

    There are far fewer dramatic site alteration here than there. After a bit of 'bedding down' we will barely notice them after a while - so long as there are no major glitches.

    You've still got the 'Assign all items as "sent"' link available against each buyer, or do you send out items individually?

    What!? Something else to learn and absorb!

    That I will leave until tomorrow. At my advanced age more than one change at a time is too confusing.

    I'm only joking! But I will look into that tomorrow as well as other changes made.

    I tried that at lunchtime and it didn't work - had to mark them all individually.
    Haven't had a payment through since then for multiple items, but I hope it comes back.

    I should have known it was optimistic that something which has been around for ages wouldn't get broken in the wake of the latest 'enhancements'

    Now I notice the 'Assign items as "sent"' link has disappeared altogether

    That'll be a darned nuisance next time one of my buyers purchases 20 items

    I may be a bunny as well!!!:crying: i also cannot make "mark all items as sent" button work!! have just finished clicking 44 items singly - could we not have a "Mark all items sent" button next to the "Archive" button at the bottom of the Delivery slip page? Or one button "MARK ALL ITEMS AS SENT AND ARCHIVE ABOVE ITEMS" :bowdown:
