IS DELCAMPE MORE DEAD THAN EVER?

I have reduced my store to a free shop, with 1000 items, changing my stock at the end of each month. October seemed to be successful, but November has yet again fallen off a cliff, with barely 50 quid for my troubles. The saving on fees is being invested in google adwords to direct to my own site, with spectacular results (300% increase in sales month on month).

It is worth noting that the majority of my sales on my site own during November are part of my November 1000 offering on Delcampe.

I conclude from this that the stamp market is still extremely strong, but buyers have left Delcampe as they are unwilling to pay the portal costs.

Is this reflective of other sellers?

:fight2: 100% AGREEMENT ridiculous to be charging 20% buyers premium Delcampe after all is an intenet auction/ postal auction, no :fight2: CORINPHILA,FELDMAN,GROSVENOR with expensive offices and expensive catalogue. Get real 10% might be OK and would ceratinly make a limit of one euro estimates as customer give up on many pages with 0.10 euro single stamps LOL if you want single stamps buy Kiloware

Sadly, after more than 2 months as a seller, I find the only reason I visit Delcampe is to remove listings that I have sold elsewhere.

As seen alll your items are expensive and or high value items.
    You are new on Delcampe.
So you can try to sell low value items to get some FB's. Just a suggestion.
Wish you more success in the near future.

Totally agree! I like this site but I’m trying not to deal with them due to the new extra costs, it’s about the only thing I can do to show how disappointed I am. I expect that sales will be down now. It seems like the extra charges are under handed and I don’t remember getting any notice of them. If you want to lose customers, I think you are on tract to do this.

I wonder if any sellers can help me?

I finally sold an item. The purchase went through MangoPay instead of Paypal. Apparently I have 'ALL Methods' checked instead of PayPal.

The question is, How to print a Shipping Label?

Normally I would simply go to PayPal and purchase and print a shipping label. PayPal would already have the Buyer's Name & Address.

    Thanks for your help

Thank you. I did see what you wrote about the 'Shipping Note'. Sorry I am new to Delcampe. I am not sure what a shipping note is exactly. Is that actually a shipping label that I purchase? or just a feedback type note to the Buyer?
It seems that I can only purchase and print a shipping label directly through the U.S. Postal Service.

correct. Buyers have left Delcampe in huge numbers as they are unwilling to pay platform fees ( the selling fee).
