Delcampe Sales

Sales have dropped of the graph. I am testing another website (with a moustache logo).....not hopeful they are any good but with virtually no sales I may simply use my average former monthly Delcampe fees to promote my own website and leave Delcampe altogether...not much point staying really. I hope Delcampe spot the error of their ways and return to the former method of collecting fees. I'm not reducing my stock prices simply because of this when my items sell perfectly well on my own site. Such a shame as DC used to be so good. Almost time to say farewell. Btw as an API user I cannot reduce my prices even if I wanted to (which I dont!)

I hope the moderators are watching..........

Again another day goes by and was looking for bucket full of sales but so far this week, not a thing, looking for another site to jump ship to and take my business there, even reducing the percentage on the listed items has not revealed a sale, can not afford to give away stamps just to get sales

the only thing to do is close all auctions down to less than 10.000 and copy csv of unsold items and save it just in case there is a turn of events so they can be relisted

    1. Click on the small arrow next to “Sell” at the top.
    2. Click on "My unsold items" -> "Closed".
    3. On the right above the list there are two small symbols (see picture)
    4. Click on the left symbol

Well even knocking 10% off of my price, my sale have stopped dead, I think the buyers are completely put off.

Since the introduction of the new pricing structure my sales have all but stopped. On average I would have 20-40 sales at any one time but now I have five. I do not understand the logic behind taking a product that works for everyone including Delcampe, and changing it so it does not work for anyone. Delcampe may have thought they would make more money this way but I predict many sellers will go elsewhere and so will the buyers. At the end of this month Decampes income will be noticeably down on previous months, surely this will make them see sense and go back to how it was before it is too late.

I think they have lost the plot, i have dropped my numbers down to less than 10.000 with the view of not paying them any more than i have to, just as well with my diminished sales i would not be able to afford shedding out another 20 euros a month with no sales to compensate it

I currently have over 40,000 items on sale and so there is no way I can drop down to below 10,000 as it would be months of work down the drain. I think I have to give it a month or two to see if sales pick up but I do not think they will. With the post in the UK rising three times in the past year it's just making it all too difficult. Shame really as I had always been happy with Delcampe and have been with them since about 2012.

I totally agree with you but with no sales you will not sustain the drain on your finance paying Delcampe, i do know one person who has over 250.000 listings so i guess he will pay the extra , but as you say the postage going up 3 times in a year just crucifies the overseas sales , I cant really advise you on what avenue to take but before they start charging me for over 10.000 i dropped mine off when i had no sales for over 2 weeks, saved the ones i took off in a csv folder so i can list them all again if desired , this could be a option to see how it goes

In my opinion it´s an absolute disaster  , both for sellers and buyers. Inexplicable why they made these changes. It´s beyond me. Delcampe used to be a consolidated platform, working perfectly well until some whizzkid came up with brilliant idea of turning it all upside down inside out. A noticeable decline in sales and no reaction from Delcampe. Alas

I've sold 21 postcards this month. 42 in March. Under the circumstances that's a lot better than expected. To make a fair comparison i have continued listing a good range of cards this month as many sales come from new listings. Do I off load 8000 cards to lower the "monthly fees"now re named as "shop fees" . I'm not sure any of the posts are been read by Mr Delcampe. A realistic suggestion would be to half shop fees for three months to see how things go. Like everyone else I don't know if it's best to close listings to get under 10000 or wait and see and pay the fee. I've only been on Delcampe for 4 years and sales have been steady on older listing that would now be closed. Come on Mr Delcampe your loyal sellers need some help before it's too late. I've not listed regularly on ebay but am looking into doing so as the gap in charges between the 2 companies is closing. I was paying over the new shop fee in fees every month so if sales were the same I would be very happy with it, 95% should have been better off but only if you are making sales. Perhaps a review of the amount of sellers that are actually better off with the new changes.
